Handy Man and his assistant on April 28-29

Last Thru Apr 26, handy man and his assistant( wife) have completedly removed the carpet on their basement, which it's an easy job. The most challenging part was to , his scrape the glue off .
During Saturday and Sunday, they started installing the new laminate, with the past experience, handy man knew how to start and how to wisely use the tools, he newly bought the laminate cutter which can help him trim the wood efficiently.

The quality of those laminate is not as good as the laminate on the TV/ Living room,
they learned from experience that they should consider seriously before purchasing next time. But they can't believe the quality from KENT is not good as the quality from the discounted flooring store.

within 12 hours, they all completed the installation. Handy man's wife is so proud of her hubsand that he could manage the corner area very well. That's why he became handy man now !!

Trust ( seeking a safe place for our highest hopes)

On April 15, Pastor Don had an awesome sermon on that Sunday service. He was talking about 'Trust in God', there were a series from different pastors for the recent weeks.
I know God has been trying to tell me about trust from the different ways, for us we have to face with different challenges and difficulties in our lives. Christians won't have any exception but the big difference is that we have Jesus in our lives.

That sermon definitely helps me to reflect myself, how to be a faithful person by totally leaning on Him, not by ourselves and the world. Trust God means we believe that we cannot see. Isn't it difficult ? Imagine you are in a room without light, it is too dark that you cannot see anything, when someone offers his hands to you, you will be secured, but what happen to that person you don't trust? When I cannot see clearly the direction that I go, I will be lost and become helpless. But Jesus again and again speaks to me indirectly that I can trust Him no matter what situation is. He won't see our failure, our weakness, He is here because we are weak.

God asked me to step out the faith, He is ready to prove his faithfulness.
1. The God we trust is a God of abundance. Psalm 24:1
2. Trusting God is contrary to our human nature.
    Our fresh, human tends to bear on ourselves.
3. People in old testament rebelled against God, people were unwilling to trust God.
4. Too oftern our trust is misplaced.
5. Trusting God reminds us of who is in control.
6. Take your hands off, God is in control.
7. Trusting God verifies He is our source.

The growing of little M

Little M now is 3 years 6 months, however, he still fails in potty training... But I found that he learned things very quickly, which is beyond my expectation. Little M doesn't want to have any hair cut, Little M doesn't want to wash his hair either.

fundraising day at Small Blessing day care

Last Friday April 20, Moses had no school due to Teacher Development Day. We went to small blessing ( Micah's preschool) at 10:30 for the activities of Fundraising. Micah was so excited to see the fire truck and fire fighters there. But Moses told me he went into the fire truck many times at school, he didn't show his interests in it. Also he told me it was the activity for babies only!

THe handy man at 4Mfamily

Recently, We have been working on the renovation at home- painting, fixing walls, installing new floorings... I just found that my BIG M is not only handy at his Jewellry world, but also the home improvement! I am proud of Big M and it seems that he could do everything. It isn't a easy work for people from Asia, having a house in Canada requires you to maintain it very well.

All are still in PROGRESS!! I think it will be the whole year project.

                                    We had problem on this part of ceiling before, Handy man fixed
                                    it and installed new drywall, fixed by compround, paint and
                                    added back the pattern. Yeah!

conversation with Moses

One day, when we were driving to YMCA for Moses's karate, Man told Moses that we might be a bit late to pick him up, so he had to wait at the receiption after he has finished.

Daddy : Moses, do you want to have a shower after karate?
Moses : ..... ( he was reading a book )

Daddy: Moses, can you hear me? do you want to have a shower after ? If you can't see
             me at 8:00, please wait for me at the receiption.

Moses: ... ( still reading)   ( silent)

Daddy: Moses...
Me: Moses, daddy is talking with you, do you want to have a shower after karate?

Moses: ha, what ?

daddy repeated what he said patiently.
Moses: ....

Me : Moses!
Moses: what? ah...?
Daddy: can you hear us ?
Moses: can you repeat?

Everyday we might face with the same situations. Should I be glad that he can be so focus on reading? LOL!

Moving home .. and update of 4M

Actually I should have created a new blog when 2012 starts, I were too busy during these few months.
It is good to capture some updated news for our 4M family as of April 22.

super M - he was so busy to start our home renovation, home improvement, frankly
              speaking renovation is a big project to every singe family, especially when you
              have to do by YOURSELF. I am so proud of Big M as it was the first time to
              do painting, fixing drywalls, installing new floorings, and he did it. He is such
              a handy man.

me M- still working on my driving license, and hope I can get it next time. I am very
            glad that I completed my C12 Insurance on Property , which was a very tough
            course, in which people all agree after they completed this course. 
            recently I am busy on C130 ( essential skills of broker and agent), and French
            course, home improvement, kids' stuffs, and some activities with friends. (golf..)

1st M - nothing change on him. He just enjoys his own life- reading, watching TV,
            weekend computer games, swimming, karate.

little M- started preschool in small blessing since March 15, he was so excited about
              his new school life. He could tell me every single details after school, I am
              sure he loves it so much!
